Caswell Bay & Whiteshell Point View from the shadow of Caswell Bay's unique pine trees, towards the coast path winding east toward Langland. The ebbing half-tide is exposing the sandy beach and the characteristic Gower limestone crags, gullies, and caves. Originally painted in acrylic on paper. Pwll-du Bay The steep slope of this relatively inaccessible bay encourages large waves to break close to shore. Over time this has created a massive storm beach pebble-bar, upon which the viewer stands in this picture, close to the crashing surf. Originally painted in acrylic on paper. Langland Bay & Snaple Point A popular leisure beach ever since Victorian times, Langland also has a history as a place of healing. In the right conditions the bay is a firm favourite with surfers, and the grass slope in the picture is a corner of Langland Bay golf-course. Originally painted in acrylic on paper.
