Three Cliffs Bay Three Cliffs Bay is owned by the National Trust, and was the first designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' in Britain. This view looks east from sand-dunes toward the cliffs of Pennard. In two hours the incoming tide will flood the whole bay, salt-marsh, and tidal reaches of the river. Original painted in acrylic on paper. (Click image for larger view, formats & prices)

Three Cliffs, Great Tor & Oxwich A truly stunning stretch of fine coastal scenery, Three Cliffs Bay has many different habitats and points of interest. Here looking from the famous 'cliffs', across the Pennard river estuary, toward the towering Tor, with the wide sandy sweep of Oxwich Bay and its graceful Point beyond. Original painted in acrylic on paper. (Click image for larger view, formats & prices)

Surf & rocks, Deepslade Deepslade is an exposed and rugged pebble beach on the Western side of Pwll-du Head. We watch from rocks in this scene, as a strong swell arrives during a fine spell in early summer, producing the kind of clean glassy waves that surfers (and seascape artists) love. Painted in acrylic on board-backed muslin. (Click image for larger view, formats & prices)
