Gower Seascape, near Limeslade A scene from the rugged coastline between Limeslade and Langland Bays, looking out at a stormy Bristol Channel. Like many exposed stretches of south Gower, the limestone rocks are carved into deep gullies, and often pounded by the waves that gradually shape them. Originally painted in oil on canvas. Morning Tide, Swansea Bay View across the wide sweep of Swansea Bay, from the water's edge near the town at high tide. Mumbles Head is seen in the distance, and a characteristic bank of clouds rises over Devon, seventy miles away on the far side of a blue and tranquil Bristol Channel. Originally painted in oil on canvas. (Click image for larger view, formats & prices)

Surf & rocks, Deepslade Deepslade is an exposed and rugged pebble beach on the Western side of Pwll-du Head. We watch from rocks in this scene, as a strong swell arrives during a fine spell in early summer, producing the kind of clean glassy waves that surfers (and marine artists) love. Painted in acrylic on board-backed muslin. (Click image for larger view, formats & prices)
