Welcome to gowercoast.net - a web gallery of my seascape paintings of Gower and South-West Wales. I've been busy for a while fitting out my studio, but now I'm back to the painting, and this website now has a new section featuring some of my recent pictures - beginning with a preview of the current 'Steed's Reflections of Gower' exhibition at the Craftsman Gallery, St.Helen's Road, Swansea SA1 4BE, which opened on Saturday 12th November 2011, and runs until Christmas. The Gower Coast Seascape Collection The beautiful coastline of the Gower Peninsula, South Wales, is a natural subject for a themed set of seascape paintings. This collection faithfully captures some of Gower's unsurpassed coastal scenery in a range of high quality fine-art prints. Steed's work in acrylic and oil has an unusual feeling of 'reality' about it, and his attention to detail, accurate perspective, and natural colour-work are all well reproduced in these evocative pictures. They are available as ready-to-hang framed prints on canvas, in a choice of frames, and also as mounted prints to fit standard photo-frames.
